All aboard! La Plata no doubt will be a good county stop for many geocache travellers passing through and the proximity to the highway will make it a quick stop for you! (then one more cache, then one more, then 30 minutes passed and it's not so fast!)
This hide is placed with permission of the business/ museum nearby. First and foremost, the cache is not hidden on any train artifacts or displays so please do not mess with the items outside. You will however find it along the retired rails outside the parking lot. From the parking lot, go to the coordinates. see the hint for specifics if you can't find it, but you should be able to reach it from the drive area without stepping into the rocks. You're looking for a magnetic key box.
Be respectful of the area and practice stealth as many muggles may pass through. Daylight hours only! I know it's illuminated at night, but let's not raise any eyebrows with our search so the cache can stay long term!
