Welcome to winter in the NY State parks. The main entrance and parking area for the Briggs Pavilion will be plowed. The early development of the park from 1933 - 1941 included a complex of stone buildings. Developed by the NY Civilian Conservation Corps (C.C.C.), employing area workers, this is one of those buildings. This building is now the home of the museum and archives of the C.C.C.
