There are to choices for hiking to this cache
1. Park at Newark Reservoir, hike up to top on paved trail then continue along part of reservoir and take the trail into the woods. This is the most scenic route with great views, but it is 0.7 miles one way with large elevation gain. It is out in open and in winter can be cold and windy or hot in summer. Would having two caches along the way make this more attractive?
2. Park at Hayden Way for a flat 0.25 mile one way hike through the woods.
Both altrernatives also have a cache near parking.
