This is the second cache I have placed, and the first I have
done with my own GPS. I picked a beautiful location (near Missoula
this time 
) but one that is heavily wooded and therefore
the satellite readings were not the best (only within 50 feet
accuracy). Go to the Rock Creek Recreation Area exit east of
Missoula on I 90. There is a small parking area near a trail head
not too far from the Valley of the Moon area. The cache is in a
large ammo can. The original contents are as follows:
Fleece headband, IQ tester Game, Great Northern ore car kit,
plastic pass case billfold, black men's socks, black women's socks,
CD: YES - "Big Generator", black gloves, cassette audio story
"White Shark" by Peter Benchley, set of 3 golf balls, elephant,
Indian beaded earrings, 2 TDK 31/2" Diskettes, chapstick, and
coins/money as follows - 1 shilling coin, Kenya, Daniel Moi; 1
shilling coin, Kenya, Mzee Kenyata, first pres. of Kenya; 1985 50
Zaire bill with Mobutu Sese Seco.
Enjoy the cache and the scenery, and hike further in for some
real exercise.
I am unable to get to this cache in the near future and the
log is full. If anyone is heading that way could you please bring
some kind of log material. I would appreciate it.
