Welcome to Norshley's Cache Park. This set of more than 30 new caches is given for the London caching community, and visitors to London, to enjoy, in honour of my Twentyversary. It has been twenty years since my first cache find on January 6, 2003. This park can be wet and muddy in some seasons, and there are creek crossing which require boots or water shoes. You can access this cache park from the trailhead on Staffordshire Place. Most of the caches are regular and large sized, with only a few smalls and one micro. They comprise a variety of icons, but no challenges nor traditionals. Just some good old-fashioned alternate icons for you to find.
This cache is named for London-born actress Kate Nelligan. She went to high school at London South Collegiate Institute, and after a brief stint at Glendon College in Toronto, took speech and drama courses in London, England. Her acting career included stage, film, and television, starting in the 1970s with shows such as The Count of Monte Cristo, The Romantic Englishwoman, Tales from the Vienna Woods, As You Like It, Plenty, Licking Hitler, and Measure for Measure. She starred in films such as Dracula, Eye of the Needle, Frankie and Johnny, and The Prince of Tides, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She continued with roles in many more films and television shows in the 1990s and 2000s.
