Geocache Description:

Hunting in Galloway Preserve

The wooded area south of the church looks like a Park, but is in fact a Hunting Preserve. Who knew?
https://www.gahanna.gov/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Urban_Deer_Hunting_galloway.pdf

UPDATE: I am reliably informed this area is no longer a Hunting Preserve.

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates, but it is nearby. Solve the puzzle to find the real coordinates.

The puzzle has two stages. Use Stage One to get the numbers you'll need in Stage Two.

Inside the cache there are some containers. These are SWAG. Please take one and use it to hide a new Geocache. If you have spare containers at home, consider donating one to the cause.

Congratulations to Robbins Family and RigbyandLilly for the First To Find.

Stage One

One evening, not so long ago, a new geocache was published. Five intrepid geocachers rushed to find the new cache. They were all in different parts of town, so they all reached the location at different times.

From the clues below, can you figure out the order in which the cachers found the new geocache?

Every geocacher logged their find in a slightly different way. For example, only one of the cachers used abbreviations like GZ and UPS. Every cacher used a different number of words in their log entry.

There's a Puzzle Grid and an Answer Table to help you. (Look in the Images for something you can print.)

Clues

  1. LEGO found the new cache some time before the cacher that wrote the longest log entry (who wasn't the Fourth To Find).
  2. msmandi, who gave a Favorite Point, found the cache immediately before the cacher with 15000 finds.
  3. dprice95 was not the Third To Find. His log entry had fewer words than LEGO's.
  4. The geocacher that Wrote a Note has 1000 more finds than the cacher that logged the most words.
  5. The Second To Find logged 41 words, but the fourth cacher to find the cache logged fewer.
  6. The cacher with 3200 finds logged exactly seven more words than the cacher that logged "More Later" (who isn't RigbyandLilly).
  7. The cacher that logged 31 words, that didn't log "TFTC SL", was not the first to find the new cache, nor the last to find it.
  8. The cacher that Wrote a Note, with 3200 finds, was not the Second To Find.
  9. The cacher with 4200 finds is neither Sweetfyre nor the one that gave a FP.
  10. Sweetfyre is the most experienced geocacher (with the most finds), but Sweetfyre was on a cache run on the other side of town and so was the last to find this cache today.
