Geocache Description:

The whitehouse style building north of the cache is operated by a multinational cosmetics firm which presumably sources products and packaging from the many related suppliers in the industrial parks in the area. At least one big Japanese cosmetics brand also has a huge office and production complex along this greenway, a couple of kilometres to the north.

The blueway in this section is still under construction in late 2022 but many supporting landscaping elements have already been implemented including this platform built among the greenery on the northewestern perimeter of the partially demolished Lotus Village.

While it might initially seem odd to see so many cosmetics related companies in a high tech zone, the cosmetics manufacturing industry has evolved to incorporate many high-tech advancements in recent years. For example, many cosmetics manufacturers now use advanced formulation techniques, such as nanotechnology and microencapsulation, to create products that are more effective and longer-lasting. They also use sophisticated machinery and automation systems to ensure precise measurements and consistent quality control. Moreover, many cosmetic companies are using advanced digital technologies including AI and augmented reality to create personalized products and improve the customer experience. These technologies can also help companies optimize their supply chain and distribution channels. It's probably a safe bet that many of these technologies are being applied in the factories in this area.
