The impressive pedestrian bridge north of the cache was built in 2020, presumably as part of the ongoing roadway construction work taking place in the north-south road passing the bridge. The cache area is surrounded by a mix of residential, industrial and commercial uses including the Guangzhou Blockchain International Innovation Center (广州区块链国际创新中心).
