Come celebrate our friend Tankengine!
Tankengine has been a prominent member of the Geocaching community in Canberra for over 20 years, he has racked up over 20,000 finds and hidden over 1,000 caches, but it is also a milestone birthday this year, so we thought why not have a get together to celebrate our friend.Â
Please feel free to post any photos with your logs you have of Tankengine in the field, or not, embarrassing moments or poster boy shots - all are welcome!
When: Sunday 22nd January at 12pm-2pm
Where: Snappers & Co. - Southern Cross Yacht Club, Mariner Place, Yarralumla
We will have a small white Geocaching flag as near the coords as we can, depending on the day. Keep an eye out for announcements to keep updated with any change to where the party is due to weather or overcrowding issues.Â

There will be no hidden games or special prizes, but there will be cake which we will serve around 1pm for those who just want to pop in between caching adventures.Â
