Holmpton Number 5. The Tyred Planter Traditional Cache

This is a rather unusual way of recycling an old tractor tyre - turn it into a planter for all to enjoy.   When it was first put up there appeared to be some strong local opposition because flowers in it were regularly pulled up and damaged.  In time the culprits were caught in the act - it was some of our local deer helping themselves to a snack.  Nowadays it is planted with things they find less tasty!  The cache is not in the planter itself or in the middle of the junction.
