Cordova Bay is our favourite beach. At low tide, you can walk north up to Island View Park (better have a bike or a vehicle waiting for you there as the tide turns). Or you can walk south to PKOL's (Mount Douglas) Beach. Sand dunes, shorebirds, bald eagles and spectacular views of Haro Straight and Mount Baker. This little park is one of the accesses to the beach, with seasonal washrooms.
