A cache to continue the celebration of Mt Kaukau, and water.
A quick easy find, ample parking on the street, please be mindful the roads are narrow and a tad steep near the cache site. Recommend parking on the not too steep sections... Andaman Grove is a good place to turn around (parking sometimes available).
A gentle stroll up from the Simlar Crescent railway station. A slightly steeper stroll if you stroll up via the Awarua Street station (and Awarua street steps). The more adventurish may choose to walk from the Clutha Street or Nainville Park bus stops.
Technically there is parking at the gz coords, but it is sometimes used by nearby residents..The boat frequently parked by gz has moved suburbs.
Brazen park and grabs potentially on offer.
The gz is frequently inspected, being the pump station for the Satara Cres reservoir at the top of the street.
If a white truck and fluro vested muggles are about, sorry, you'll need to return later.
if an audible alarm sounds, please vacate the area- you'll soon have company (NB: the alarm hardley ever sounds since they upgraded the facility).
Your searching for a black nano, please bring a writing stick, no room for trackables.
Please be mindful of the nearby gardens, the magnetic nano is not there.
