Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Heritage Trail for

the "Bridges-n-Benches" series!

This cluster of caches is designed to be quick and simple.  The caches are placed no more than a few steps away from the trail, and should be straightforward to find.  I hope you'll take a few hours or a few days to come back out to a scenic trail and enjoy the sights and sounds, no matter which season of the year you choose.  Oh!  And, maybe find a geocache or two along the way.

So much has changed out here in the past 5 years.  The first time I placed a cache in the vicinity, it was right after Bridge 25 had been replaced.  It's a beaut, too.  Should stand the test of time for a bunch of years.

BUT!  In that same amount of time, the grubbed out areas on either side of the trail near the bridge have come back to life.  There's all kinds of growth around the bridge now.  Yikes!

Here's the deal:  The cache is under the bridge.  Now, you could just put your head down and charge straight into the "lines of defense" here.  Or, you could try a running play around the end.  One way is short, but painfully ugly.  The other is a bit longer, but you'll likely come out without scars.  Unless scars is what you want!

Please remember that this trail is "Pay to Play," but it's only $2 and the money is put right back into trail maintenance and repair.  Kiosks are scattered along the trail at various spots.  The closest to this cache is in the park in Graf.  Still one of your best $ values for a day of hiking or biking!  Remember to replace the caches as you found them.  If it's missing, just log the DNF and I'll get out there to do maintenance.  Drop caches are discouraged.  CITO if you see litter and enjoy your adventure.

Good luck!
