Come with your mountain bike (or go for a hike, if you prefer), on the twisty winding trails of Norshley's MTB Park. There are 10 caches hidden throughout this park, with a variety of types of caches, and they are named after the Top Ten Mountain Bike Parks in Ontario.
Parking is free, but limited to about 5 vehicles, at the small lot next to the southbound lanes of Veterans Memorial Parkway, just south of the river. If you're approaching from the south, make a U-turn at River Road stoplights, and come back southwards over the bridge to the trailhead lot.
This cache is a multi-stage cache, regular-sized first stage, and a small final. At the first stage there will be instructions for the coordinates of the final.
This cache is named for the Durham Forest mountain bike trails, near Uxbridge. With a crew of dedicated trail builders and advocates, the town has rallied to preserve and maintain over 200 kilometres of bike trails that absolutely rip. There are three trail networks in the area that offer a variety of different terrain, from fast flow, to technical and slow. The amount of trails in one condensed area is incredible.
