This extension of the trail from Tiffin, eventually connecting to Coralville was paved years before the public was allowed to use it due to the construction of the I80/I380 connection remodel. Trail may be closed, periodically, due to construction. Do not try to access cache from the Interstate, please, park at the provided waypoint. NOTE: Geocaching map shows a trail that goes from Westcor St to the trail. This trail is not built yet, so stick to provided parking waypoint. I will add parking waypoint when that trail extension is done.
Geocache Log #2
After Geocache Log #1 was shared among friends and family, I decided to continue on with Volume #2. We were addicted. The second volume covers geocaches #101 to 227 from September 24th, 2006 to April 22nd 2007.
So many adventures and a lot with friends or people we ran into geocaching. Too many stories to share. Here are a few highlights from volume #2.
Hamar Dad did his first geocache with us. He later started to geocache himself and joined me for many adventures when my little brother moved away. His geocaching name was Dr_Jeff.
Lil Bro did our first CITO event. I was on call and could not go. He didn’t take a photo but someone else posted a photo of him logging. I think this also ended up on tv, if I remember right.
No new equipment, just lots of adventures. We cached with our friends and met other cachers while caching, like drtmn.
On to Volume #3!
