Geocache Description:

24 February 2023, 17:30 - 19:00

Venue: Island Bay Presbyterian Church, 88 The Parade, Island Bay.

February is quite often an Event-free month in Wellington, so if that's not an excuse to hold an Event, I don't know what is!

Friday is often takeaway night in many Kiwi households.

Food choices in Island Bay: from fish 'n' chips to pizza to burgers to Thai or Chinese.

Format:  GB Leader and and I recently spent seven weeks in the Northern Hemisphere, and had many adventures, both caching related and travel related ,,,, I have prepared a power point picture show with some highlights and a couple of lowlights of our trip. We added Five new countries to my geocaching stats: Spain, Denmark, Belgium, France and USA.

We will tell you some of the Fabulous geocaches we Found, particularly a Favourite in Hamburg, a very close FTF in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands (which is Spanish), and a Fossil cache in Denmark.

Hear and see about the Find of the world's 3rd most Favourited cache, the saga that was Globetrotter LPA, the Virtual at the Soviet Union's massive memorial to its war dead, and a cache called G.C.1.G.C. Far out, we had Fun!

But first, we will eat our takeaways. We will supply tea, coffee and juice. After the photo show, others may like to share a memorable cache find, or other adventure. Feel free to take the stage!
