Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE PUBLISHED COORDINATES.

PONTYPOOL on the east coast of Tasmania is found in the local government area of Glamorgan/Spring Bay, it is located approximately 81 kms from Hobart and covers an area of 2.696 square kilometres. Pontypool has a recorded population of 53 residents. You will probably see more muggles driving past GZ than the locals. I did spot a "local" near GZ when I placed the cache - a tiger snake on the gravel, so be aware!

To find the cache, a quick google search will yield the coordinates you need.

For some reason I thought of Fireman Sam as driving past the turnoff to Pontypool but apparently he lives at Pontypandy. I have spent too much time with the grandkids I think.  If you need help to solve, ask a four year old.

1. Fireman Sam first appeared on the BBC in 198A?

2. In the original series the character voices were all voiced by ? Alderton. How many letters are in Mr Alderton's first name? =

3. Trevor Evans the bus driver of Pontypandy drives a what brand Transit Dormobile? How many letters are in the brand name of the bus? = C

4. The theme song to Fireman Sam was performed by Maldwyn Pope from 1987 to 1994. What year was Mr Pope born D960?

5. In the theme song for Fireman Sam, how many seconds does it take for him to put on his coat and hat?  =

6. How many letters are in the name of the fire engine that Fireman Sam drives? = F

To locate GZ you will need to solve the following sum:

S42 19.(A-C) (E-F) (B+C+D)     E147 57.(D+D) (B-C) (A-D)

Please bring your own pen.
