An easy park and grab of a sistema container at a location where there is a nice view of Victory Beach and Wickliffe Bay. At low tide you may even see the flywheel of the shipwreck SS Victory which sank in 1861 off the coast of the beach.
Some of the houses on the way up here are built on steep sections and at least one house that I know of had a funicular installed to help with getting groceries etc from the road to the house.
The roads around here are 2-way but very narrow, unsealed and not suitable for campervans.

On Labour Weekend 2024 (26-27 October), Dunedin will be hosting the next large gathering of geocachers in New Zealand. It's going to be an exciting opportunity for all geocachers to come together, learn and find more geocaches. Go to GCA7ZHD for more information and to register your intention to attend.
