Come to the Vimy Lounge at Nutana Legion, pick a board game, find some players and have fun for a round or two!
The event starts at 3pm and the games are expected to start around 3:30.
Please arrive no later than 3:20pm, this will give everyone some time to sign the logbook, grab refreshments and pick a game or join a party that is waiting for players. As most games have a player limit, the spots will be taken on a first come - first served basis.
The host (EggsTheBest) will provide a bunch of games to choose from, including but not limited to:
- Cribbage (classic card game, 3-4 players)
- Alias (word explaining team game, 4-10 players)
- Codenames: pictures (word clue team game, 2-8 players)
- Wizard (trick taking card game, 3-6 players)
- Saboteur (resource management and bluffing card game, 3-10 players)
- Classic deck of cards - decide your own game!
You are also welcome to bring your own game, in which case please arrive no later than 3:15pm to make sure there's enough time to set it up and find some players. It is a good idea to choose a game that's fairly easy and takes 30-60 minutes to finish. Please indicate in your log what you're bringing, to give others a heads up of what games will be available.
If none of these games sound familiar to you, you might want to arrive early - the host will be able to give a quick explanation of the rules of each game.
If you don't want to play but enjoy watching others, you're absolutely welcome to come and join as an audience!
