Martian Matt and HamHippo just celebrated their second anniversary of geocaching. We have geocached as far north & west as Alaska, as far south as Florida and as far east as Germany. With geocaching we have discovered many great sites off the beaten path and had many adventures around the world.
We love mysteries, though many are quite challenging. We always have a great laugh (after many minutes of frustration) at evil caches. Our favorite neighborhood cacher is MamaCats - evil, smart and fun.
This container can hold a few trackables (TBs) and toys for kids. We love to rescue TBs. Our best rescue was of an Air Force themed TB stranded for 3 years in the woods. We took it to a TB hotel and it was picked up by a flight attendant and the TB visited caches around the world. Still gives us a thrill to think about how the TB owner must have felt seeing their TB fly again.
This is our first cache hide together, so it is a simple traditional in our neighborhood to give back to the geocaching community.
Geocaching is the best collaborative entertainment value on the planet !!
