It's time to highlight the A in W.A.G.S (Williston Area Geocaching Society). So we're branching out beyond the confines of Williston to highlight, explore, and include the surrounding area. This month we'll be coming to Sidney, Montana, and this is exciting because, to date, there has never been a geocaching event held in Richland County. So come out and explore Sidney and celebrate Geocaching for the first time here!
We'll be meeting for lunch at Meadowlark Public House in downtown Sidney (Posted Coordinates) at Noon Mountain Time (that's the equivalent of 1 pm in North Dakota). After lunch, we will head over to the Mondak Heritage Center where we'll learn about the history of the region with a scavenger hunt. There are also geocaches and adventure labs nearby. You are encouraged to join us, but this is not required to log your attendance.
If you've never been to a geocaching event, it's a great opportunity to meet other geocachers and share knowledge and experiences. It's a great time and you'll almost always leave having made new friends.
