The Buda Mill & Grain Co. has been part of Buda’s story for over a century. It began life as a cotton gin in 1914, rebuilt after earlier versions were lost to fire. By 1929, the focus had shifted from cotton to grinding feed for local dairy farms, and the name changed to Buda Milling Company. In 1963, Cecil Ruby purchased the mill, and after years of use and then quiet, the property was brought back to life in the 2010s as a lively community space filled with shops, restaurants, and restored historic structures — including the original 1914 brick gin building.
There are plenty of potential hiding spots around here, but since muggles are often nearby, this cache was designed to be a quick and easy grab. If you park just right, your vehicle should give you a bit of cover while you make the find.
