Geocache Description:

Sankey Valley is a country park in Warrington, in the heart of the Mersey Forest. The linear park follows a section of the St Helens Canal and Sankey Brook, providing a vast habitat for wildfowl including ducks, geese and swans.

I have long enjoyed spending time in this park, both as a child playing in its various kid's areas such as the Spider's Web, Pirate Ship or maze, and as an adult walking and enjoying the greenery.

This series of caches will take you on a circular walk of about an hour starting at the entrance on Hesketh Street, walking up to the old gate-keeper's cottage at Bewsey and back along the less-frequented path across the canal (this side isn't paved so can get muddy). The caches, however, can be found in any order as there is parking at WA51HA.

The cache is a small tube and you will need tweezers and a pen.
