**Congratulations to legoman613 for the FTF. **
This cache is placed at once was the entrance and haul road for the Dora Six Mine. This mine was owned and operated by a local mining company. The mine has long since been abandoned. Once abandoned the mine begain to fill with water. Once it was full the water began to seep out of the hill side in the nearby town of Hamilton.
After the water began to seep out, the state enviormental department feared there could be a blow out of water. With the wall of water being 75' higher than ground level in the town of Hamilton the DEP planed and emplemented a plan to drill relieve wells to let the water out of the mine in a controlled manner. The drainage ponds for the relieve wells can be seem on the outskirts of Hamilton.
Enjoy this my first cache.
