What is it: We're hosting a short outside event to celebrate the kickoff of the Delaware County GeoTrail. A trail of 12 caches and a bonus created by Hockeydaze and myself in connection with Delaware State Park.
Where: The parking lot by the Delaware State Park Campground office.
Who: All geocachers are welcome!!
Why: To meet fellow geocachers of course and earn a commemorative Delaware County GeoTrail pathtag.
How to participate:
● Find atleast 10 of the 12 Delaware County Geotrail caches above and log them on www.geocaching.com.
● Fill out the trail form (we will be handing them out at the event) by recording the “secret word” found inside each cache, then pickup your commemorative Delaware County Geotrail pathtag at the event location by 1pm or at the Delaware State Park main office during park hours (8am to 4:30 Monday-Friday). I believe park manager and campground manager will be in the main office part of the day of the event.
● If you find all 12 GeoTrail caches, you can solve the puzzle and unlock the coordinates for the Bonus Cache
● One pathtag per cache handle.
● Pathtags are available to the first 50 cache teams to complete the Delaware County GeoTrail.
