The Ivy Tree
Second of 7 caches we have hidden which we hope to add more too in the coming months
Hindhead Commons is an area of outstanding natural beauty and this has been enhanced by the tunnel taking traffic away and the work the local rangers have done is amazing making this one of the most lovely places to visit in the south of England. The views no matter where you walk is beautiful and I spent my youth growing up here.
Cahce is a micro container with some holly on top. Right next to the main path and can be a tricky little find. The path can be quite busy so lots of stealth required!!!. BRING YOUR OWN PEN!!!!!!!
Please make sure cache is replaced and hidden back in the exact spot you found it.
Cache placed with the very kind permission of The National Trust who look after this area, and all areas, amazingly well. The work they do to keep our countryside looking amazing and well managed. The work they have done over the last few years have really brought this place alive and ensured it stays nice for years to come. Perfect for a stroll, looking at the viewings and admiring the wildlife.
GEOCACHING ON NATIONAL TRUST LAND IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK. PLEASE RESPECT ALL PATHWAYS AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
Happy Hunting!
