Well, the calendar has rolled around again and it's time for a visit to the grandkids in Manhasset! For the last couple of years, whenever I travel out of state (Washington), I'm hosting a short Event to meet and greet local cachers and learn more about the area. That includes getting any ideas for which caches I should target while visiting.
My geocaching time is limited on these visits to the early to mid mornings when Mrs. Scary arises from her slumbers and the grandkids are ready to play after their morning routine.
I've also used these Events to begin the divestiture of my Collection of Geocoins and other TB's to those who would like to just move them along or to place in their own Collections.
I'm looking forward to meeting some of the folks who have attended my two previous Events in the area as well as a few others whom I haven't yet met.
We'll be meeting at 8AM at the Bakers of All Nations on East Jericho Turnpike in Mineola. See you there!
