Show your appreciation for Mother Nature and participate in a CITO on Earth Day!
Come out and get your hands dirty on Saturday, April 22nd, from 11 am to 1 pm! We will be picking up trash at Upper Lake Park in Port Washington. The meeting spot is at Area #4. It is a Kiwanis pavilion that will be reserved right next to the playground for the event. The gathering area and log will be here. Then we will gather at 12:45 pm for a group photo! There is plenty of space to spread out and collect as much as possible.
This is a family-friendly event for all ages. Dogs are allowed in the park but must be leashed. If you are looking to grab a snack or lunch before the event, there are coffee and lunch shops downtown. You can then come to the area and have a little picnic before the event kicks off. There is lots of parking available right across the street. Small garbage bags and gloves will be available for cleaning up after signing the log.
CITO will happen rain or shine but canceled if storming.
