A hike to the meadow and benches uphill from this cache's coordinates will offer sights of Mt. St. Helena in one direction, and the mountains to the south and southwest. Until recent fires cleared a lot of the thick vegetation, views from here were limited. A closer view downhill now includes the pond that usually harbors nesting Canada Geese. There are often deer and turkeys in the meadows up here, and around the pond.
Have a seat on one of the benches nearby, you will have earned a rest due to having to walk the steepest trails or service roads in Shiloh Ranch Regional Park to get here.
The cache container is a clever camo type of cache. It is located where it is due to massive amounts of poison oak starting to leaf out across the trail in the meadow. Please BYOP and replace as found
Have a fun hike!!
