The Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link is the first marine crossing in Hong Kong that combines highway, footpath and cycle track on one bridge. It is the only bridge in Hong Kong where you can cycle across the sea. The 1.8km bridge connects Lohas Park with Tiu Keng Leng, and further to Lam Tin via a new tunnel, effectively eliminating traffic congestion in the area.
The arches on the main span is offically named "Eternity Arch", which is said to resemble the infinity symbol (∞), signifying vitality, boundless energy and vigour in the vibrant TKO town. Nevertheless, many local media refer to this as "Butterfly Arch/Bridge", for its obvious resemblence to butterfly wings.
At GZ, you can admire the scenery of the TKO bay from the middle of the sea. Take a break and enjoy the view!
