This cache is in memory of a much loved family member, my jack russell terrier, Samson the Mighty. My little warrior will be greatly missed.
Samson was with me when I accidentally stumbled upon my first cache while taking a walk through the local park, and he was with me again when I accidentally came across another one a few days later.
I had heard of geocaching but hadn't ever really checked it out, so we decided to join in on the fun and I downloaded the app. Samson was immediately on board, he saw it as an opportunity for lots of walks in new places he hadn't been before. Sammy was with me for EVERY find until he passed in November of 2022.
Since this is my first hide I thought it was appropriate that Samson be a part of it. He wasn't happy unless he was involved with everything I did. So, this one is his. I've added some dog related items, and some other items to trade including an unactivated trackable.
