La Chapelle de Saint Philibert
L’église paroissiale ” Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité ” que l’on nomme couramment chapelle fut construite au bord de l’eau en 1648. Elle n’avait alors que la nef et était bâtie comme une maison de pêcheur de l’époque avec ses murs crépis à la chaux, intérieur et extérieur. Elle fut agrandie et restaurée par la suite ; on allongea le transept nord avec une tribune en 1954, puis elle fut décapée pour la mettre à la mode de la pierre apparente.
La petite fontaine proche de l’église fut édifiée en 1649 et la grande fontaine est du XVIIIs. Longtemps les gens du village vinrent y chercher de l’eau.
Cette église fut dédiée à Saint Philibert. À l’intérieur on peut admirer un retable du XVIIIs avec un tableau de l’époque romantique, qui représente, selon la légende, Saint Philibert débarquant dans l’anse du Ster après avoir navigué depuis l’Irlande sur une auge de pierre.
Le plafond de l’édifice est constellé d’étoiles, les vitraux évoquent les activités agricoles et ostréicoles de la commune.

Chapel of Saint Philibert
The parish church "Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité", commonly called the chapel, was built on the waterfront in 1648. At that time, it had only the nave and was built like a fisherman's house of the time with its walls plastered with lime, inside and outside. It was later enlarged and restored; the north transept was extended with a gallery in 1954, and then it was stripped to make it look like exposed stone.
The small fountain near the church was built in 1649 and the large fountain is from the 18th century. For a long time the people of the village came to fetch water there.
This church was dedicated to Saint Philibert. Inside you can admire an altarpiece from the 18th century with a painting from the Romantic period, which represents, according to the legend, Saint Philibert landing in the cove of the Ster after having sailed from Ireland on a stone trough.
The ceiling of the building is studded with stars, the stained glass windows evoke the agricultural and oyster farming activities of the town.
