This cache is hidden near an iconic reservoir pumping station on Macarthur Boulevard. It is distinctive in that it looks like a castle, and is a historic landmark. Built in 1899, the design was intended to replicate the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers insignia. Portland cement plaster was used to replicate stonework and give the gatehouse an authentic castle appearance. Underneath, brick was used.
This should be an easy find; there aren't too many safe places for a cache here, but it's worth visiting, especially for people who love castles! BYOP, no room for anything.
