When we first placed caches in this regional park there was a cache at this lookout. It has been archived long ago so while out on a maintance run we decided to place another cache to encourage people to walk to the lookout and use the less travelled valley of the settlers track.
Incredible views from this lookout back across to the land over the Manukau Harbour. There is a great sign at the lookout that gives you landmarks or identifies places like Hunua Ranges, Mangere Mountain.
It's a great place to stop for a food refuel and to just sit and enjoy where we live.
Hopefully there not tooo many muggles around when you look for it as it's not found from the main viewpoint.
