This viewpoint and land art project is so fabulous it just deserved a cache placement- luckily just far enough away from the other placement nearby to be possible.
Hike the Vista Trail to the Stone Horse Viewpoint. Standing at the tree take your binoculars and look down (as the sign indicates) and see a magnificent horse in the desert sand!
The art project:
From this point you can see this piece of magnificent land art (140x80 meters, using 4,244 stones arranged in one continuous line!) created by South African artists Anni Snyman and PC Janse van Rensburg and volunteers. To reach the perfect outline to see the horse in its proper proportions from this high perspective many climbs up and down here were necessary!

It is best seen in the afternoon light. The owners of Klein-Aus Vista are very proud that their farm was chosen for this artwork and participated in its creation. You don't have to stay here or spend any money at the Inn, but a small conservation fee of N$50 pp is applicable to all guests and visitors of the Sperrgebiet Rand Park conservancy land which this is and you will receive a digital hiking brochure also explaining flora, fauna and geology.

Your cache prize is very near by. the viewpoint. If the hint does not work (things may change around here), there is a spoiler just in case. The container is a larger pill bottle which can hold small trackables and SWAG but BRING YOUR OWN PEN!
