Sculpture Park. The mythological Battle of Geashill is marked by a series of sculptures. The battle was fought between two brothers, Éremon and Éber, where the latter was killed. Each granite slab contains a circular object that represents one of the protagonists. Shields, lunulae and disks are worked in repoussé, based on Iron Age artefacts. At the reverse, a plaque gives a brief interpretation
Geashill Rain garden is planted with native perenials and is designed to temporarily store water. Water levels in the rain garden will vary depending on the time of year. The plants, gravel and soil naturally remove pollutants from the water. The filtered water from the rain garden then runs into two wetland ponds.
The cache is like a film canister but a bit smaller.
Please be mindful when visiting the rain garden to be respectful of the environment.
