Looking between the quaint boat houses are picturesque views of the golden sands of Watercress Beach and Paterson Inlet. Listen to the water lapping the shore and keep an eye (and ear) out for the Kaka and Tui.
From here you can continue along Thule Road to the Ryans Beach Track or to Golden Bay and take the water taxi to Ulva Island.
