PORT TOWER SELION
The 143-meter-high Port Tower at "Roadside Station Akita Port" is a popular sightseeing spot in Akita, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the Sea of Japan and the Oga Peninsula. Surrounded by 6,272 pieces of tempered glass, the observatory is illuminated at night, attracting many citizens and tourists. And there's no charge for the observatory! The roadside station offers a variety of seasonal vegetables and Akita's specialty products for the enjoyment of visitors. There is even a nostalgic "udon vending machine! Please come visit us when you come to Akita.
The cache is located on the 3rd floor of the observatory with a great view. cache time 9:00～21:00

「道の駅あきた港」にある全高143mのポートタワー。100mの高さにある展望台からは、360度のパノラマで壮大な日本海や男鹿半島、鳥海山などが見渡せる、秋田の人気観光スポットです。6272枚の強化ガラスで囲まれており、夜間はイルミネーションも点灯され、多くの市民や観光客でにぎわっています。
しかもこの展望台、料金無料で開放されているんです！太っ腹！道の駅では旬の野菜や秋田の名産品がずらり、レトロな「うどんの自販機」も名物となっています。秋田に来たときはぜひあそびにきてけれす。
