From the nearest parking area, you are less than one quarter mile from the cache site. There is a short section along this route that is unmarked and of medium difficulty. A second option is to park at the mountain bike trail head on the left as you turn toward the lake from the main road. This route is winding and longer, but is an easy stroll to within 100-feet of the cache
Boots Walker and Swara0606, in cooperation with the Oklahoma Department of Tourism placed this cache in late September 2002. The hiding of the cache and the initial hunt were filmed, and aired on the TV program ‘Discover Oklahoma’ the evening of November 09, 2002. The ‘Discover Oklahoma’ Cache is intended to promote tourism and geocaching in Oklahoma state parks. Therefore we encourage the exchange of only Oklahoma theme related items. The initial contents of the cache include:

Because the cache location was compromised on television, we relocated the cache container following the filming.
