Welcome to our new Parasite series. Our pets (dog and cats) have had several bouts of giardia. Giardia is treated with a special medicine (a powder that they despise) combined with an antibiotic pill (which they detest). Take note - you can bring this into your home on the soles of your shoes from contaminated soil. Swell, right? More info on giardia below in case you wanted to know.
We had to buy a HUGE tub of these anti-parasite meds, and that container came with 150 individual little anti-parasite med baggies to measure it into in case a vet was dispensing it. So.....$400+ later we are done the giardia treatment and decided to start a series of caches putting the log sheets into these dang bags rather than throwing them away.
All caches are easy park and grabs to add to your numbers. We hope you have fun! We plan on adding more caches in the series throughout the year!
