This geocache is in honor of my dear childhood dog, Sam, better known as Puggie. My family rescued him from the animal shelter in 2013. In my early teenage years, he often came with me on geocaching adventures. He loved hiking on trails, wading through streams, and being by my side on the couch. Sam was total sweetheart who charmed everyone with goofy and friendly demeanor, but he was also stubborn and full of hubris. This was made apparent in his refusal to go up or down stairs in his later years. Puggie lived a long, healthy, and very full life, before having to be put down after experiencing two seizures just prior to his birthday.

You are searching for a pill bottle with a blue tint (which once held Sam’s medication), right around the steps. Ground zero can be accessed either off Wagner Road, or the pathway that joins with the Ma & Pa Trail. Muggles should not be a problem but please do be mindful and avoid stepping on private property.
