The Harrison House was built by John S. and Martha Jane Harrison in 1852. In June 1851 John established Star Route 6285 from Austin to San Antonio with stages stopping at the nearby Harrison and McCulloch Stage Stop believed to be built in 1850. The house is owned by the City of Selma and has been restored as a community center and city park. It was officially opened in August 2016.
There is a trail that goes to the front park that's sooo pretty, especially in the spring! You should definitely consider it!
