Geocache Description:

Moseley Old Hall is a National Trust Property, an admission fee is payable unless you are a member See web site for opening times.

Moseley Old Hall was built circa 1600, and is most famous for being one of the hiding places of Charles II during his escape to France following defeat at the Battle of Worcester in 1651. He hid in a Priest Hole in the house, which can still be viewed if visiting today. The National Trust took ownership of the property in 1962 and opened it to the public in 1963.

This is a small series of 5 caches that are all easy to find, and have been placed with the kind permission of Cat (Head Gardener), Libby and Alex (who also helped with the placement of these caches). I hope they bring a smile to your face.

This new area is work in progress , becoming a little walk around nature reserve, a few picnic benches to rest on, a local kestrel hovers above and you may see a couple of buzzards passing over,. There are a few brambles to negotiate in the summer, so take extra care. Please replace as found... .

No spoiler photos that show the cache please! Thanks to Luke the head gardener for help and permission with  the last two caches  Enjoy your stay.
