A fun story on why these no P signs are here. When this park was first built Elm Creek Parkway was not yet in existance, instead Rice Lake Road was the main throuroughfare. Meaning tha there was no parking lot on the east side like there is now. So everyone that used Kerber park was used to parking on the street on the west side of the park. Some of my neighbors (who told me the story) say that they fought the city to not add a parking lot on the west side of the park and add the no parking signs to encourage people to park in the east lot, oh and stay off my lawn... I added that part.
