Please note that this is a T5 event!
To participate, some sort of watercraft is essential to cover the distance we are planning to cover on the river during the event.
During last months CITO Paddle Pickup, geocachers did a great job cleaned up both sides of the river near the Apex Park.
For this months CITO, we will focus on a longer stretch at another section of the river which is much more frequented by humans and small wildlife alike. Therefore, an adequate watercraft is essential to participate, since just swimmers or floaters won't get you far enough for this event.
We will start from Rossiter Park. It provides good car parking, a water fountain and a nearby pontoon and boat ramp for small watercrafts (i.e. inflatables and kayaks) which allow easy access to the water. From there we will be starting our journey along the river in East direction on one side of the river and return along the other river side.
Plastic Bags and Sunscreen will be provided.
As a reward, aside of the good feeling that you have helped cleaning up our gameboard, you will earn the CITO souvenir if you haven't got it already for this season.
