A Li'l Walk in Stonewall Woods Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Max Cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. So that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival, and I will unarchive your cache.

After we posted a note to you cache requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and sending us a note. We have no record of a response, and no response tells us that you are not planning on replacing, or repairing this cache if we are wrong with that assumption please let me know.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:

This multi-cache has four steps ending in a traditional cache loaded with lots of goodies. The first 3 steps will be hidden microcaches that contain coordinates for the next step. All four steps are along the trails of Stonewall Woods, so PLEASE follow trails (no backyards).

This wooded area runs around behind an elementary school so please use good judgement and be respectful if seeking this during school hours. Seeking the cache outside of school hours makes for far better parking, as the school is the most obvious place to park.

You will start along a paved trail but your journey will grow more adventurous with each step. Coordinates are pretty reliable although they did skip around a li'l bit, about +/- 15 ft or so at some points. Each step was carefully averaged to get the best coordinates possible.

Microcaches are clear film canisters (although some may be camouflaged). Please make sure they are WELL SEALED and placed back in their EXACT original locations once you get your next set of coordinates.

Final Cache is an ammo box. It is well marked with a stenciled 'Geocache' and Logo.

Hints below are for each different step. Don't use more than you have to if you can help it. Happy Hunting!
