Our family has always enjoyed mucking around in the lagoon here ,,,,plus doing the walkway .
Also the Blowhole at the other end of the beach is worth exploring !
Whiritoa is a lovely destination .
Have been meaning to hide a geocache on the walkway...and today I actually did !
To cross the water on foot I suggest coming within 3 hours either before or after low tide .....Only ankle deep then !
The hide is only about 5 minutes up the track .
About 3 steps off the track on your right going up....at the base of a tree ...Tucked in .
Please re cover with leaves and bark.
