This cache contains dollar bills that have been registered at
www.WheresGeorge.com and marked to identify
them as such. The Where's George site is a place where you can
record the serial numbers of U.S. bills and them track their
journey as people report their current location.
Before you visit this cache, get a dollar bill and enter its
serial number at www.wheresgeorge.com. You may want to become a
member of this great site before you enter the bill so you can
track your bill as it moves around. Joining Where's George is free
and fun. Write "www.WheresGeorge.com" on the bill and you're set to
go. Once you find the cache, put your bill in and take one of the
others from the cache. Feel free to trade multiple bills but trade
one-for-one . When you get back to a computer, enter the serial
number of the bill you took at the Where's George site and see the
history of the bill, where its been and all. You are now free to do
whatever you want with the bill you took from the cache. You could
just spend it but it would be more fun to put it in the next
geocache you go after. It's up to you. Enjoy finding this cache,
it's a very pleasant walk to get there.
The cache is a .30 caliber ammo box and was replaced in July of
2004 because to original couldn't be found. (It was probably taken
but there is so much new vegetation, if it got moved 50 feet you
may never find it). Replaced cache started with 5 fairly new
Where's George bills and a few toys for the kids. Update: Container
replaced again in May, 2006 because a trapper took it in payment
for a released animal. (I am not making this up!)
