This is a two-stage multi-cache that starts at an intersection in the heart of the Liuhe night market area and leads to the geocache half a kilometer away. By night, stealth is needed at stage 1; by day, little is required. Food and drink abound in the neighborhood of stage 1, night and day. The street stalls are there in the evening. The final is located in a quieter area and is a much easier find.
The Formosa Boulevard Station (Red 10, Orange 5) is 250 m from stage 1. Formosa Boulevard Station exits 1 and 11 are closest to the Liuhe Night Market.
Nearest public restrooms are located at the KMRT Formosa Boulevard Station.
For those who drive, evening parking for a fee may be available at Jianguo National Primary School 150 m away.
There is no admission fee to the night market.
I think this geocache may be wheelchair accessible for some wheelchair users. I have checked the geocache attribute for wheelchair accessibility, but I hesitated to say so because wheelchair users will need to ride the streets to access both stages of this geocache. Off the streets, there is one obstacle after another along the sides. I do not use a wheelchair. I bicycled the half-kilometer route between the two waypoints with no trouble. I hope that wheelchair users who are comfortable with riding on the street, and who feel at ease with scooters everywhere, and who are familiar with busy, crowded and blocked sidewalks will find this geocache.
As mentioned, the Formosa Boulevard Station (Red 10, Orange 5) exits 1 and 11 are closer to the Liuhe Night Market. The wheelchair exits at Formosa Boulevard Station are 1 and 3. Exit 1 is the wheelchair exit closer to the Liuhe Night Market.
If wheelchair users arrive from Formosa Boulevard Station, they might give this geocache a handicache rating of H21221 from Formosa Boulevard Station exit 1 to the start. They might give a rating of H31222 from the start to the final. And they might rate the entire geocache H43222. My rating of 2 for obstacles only applies to the road surface; it would be higher if applied to the repeatedly blocked sidewalks. Total roundtrip distance from Formosa Boulevard Station to the final and back is 1.5 km.
