renruts: Thanks for coming out everyone. Will do this again next year somewhere out this way, just not sure which park. We have been given so many recommendations…only time and availability will tell.

Geocache Description:

08 July 2023, 09:00 - 10:30

Daddy renruts and I decided to reserve a campsite for the weekend and a pavilion for the day at Blue Knob State Park.  We have the Burnt House pavilion from 8am until 8pm, so we will host a caching event in the morning and from noon onward we will be hosting a Parks on the Air pot luck.

So, if you are available on Saturday morning around 9am, please come out and say hi and share some caching stories and travel bugs while having a cup of coffee.  I am hoping to be able to pick up some local coffee and breakfast pastries, alas, if I don't have luck, I will bring the Keurig with me.  Bring your favorite hot drink travel mug to fill and anything special you like in your coffee.  I will have basic sugar and cream for those that wish to use it as well as some coffee cups.

After we say goodbye around 10:30am, I am planning on heading out into the gamelands for a day of hiking and caching and would love some company.  Really open to anything, but thought this might be a good way to find some caching partners.

After caching I will return to the pavilion to hang out some more.  While it isn't a necessity to sign in, the event book will be at the shelter all day and while I plan to be there until 10:30am, daddy renruts will be there for the rest of the day with his ham radio friends, and like cachers, they love to talk about their hobby and share it with others, so if you ever had any questions about ham radio, this is the perfect opportunity to come out and ask them.   Just let them know you are geocachers.  Also note, I love moving travel bugs and do a lot of traveling, so feel free to drop them off at any point in the day.  I will have a bin sitting with the logbook.
